Journal ArticleDOI

Sn modification of TiO2 anatase and rutile type phases: 2-Propanol photo-oxidation under UV and visible light

TL;DR: In this article, binary Sn-Ti samples having Sn:Ti atomic ratios from zero to one were prepared through a hydrothermal method and the resulting high surface area powders were characterized using a combination of Xray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, UV-vis spectrograph, and porosimetry techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evaluation of Surface and Bulk Phases during Oxychlorination/Reduction Cycles of Pt–Re Catalysts☆

TL;DR: In this article, the X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES), hydrogen chemisorption, and n-heptane reforming, at stages during a series of oxychlorination/reduction cycles are studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface modification of Cu2O-CuO photocatalyst on Cu wire through decorating with TiO2 nanoparticles for enhanced visible light photocatalytic activity

TL;DR: In this article , the fabrication of Cu2O-CuO/TiO2 nanocomposite photocatalysts on Cu wire was performed successfully via chemical-thermal oxidation and sol-gel process.
Journal ArticleDOI

The bonding mechanism of NO to Cu(111): An ab initio molecular orbital cluster model study

TL;DR: In this paper, self consistent field molecular orbital (SCF-MO) wavefunctions were obtained and analyzed for the interaction of NO above a Cu(111) surface, modelled by a five-atom cluster.
Journal ArticleDOI

DRIFTS-XANES study of Pd -Ni / (Ce,Zr )Ox/Al2O3 model automotive catalysts

TL;DR: Pd-Ni catalysts supported on (Ce,Zr)O x /Al 2 O 3, both in fresh and thermally aged states, were examined with the main aim of determining the effects of Ni and Ce-Zr mixed oxide on the catalytic activity for CO and C 3 H 6 oxidation, and NO reduction reactions under stoichiometric conditions as discussed by the authors.
