Pt/B-g-C3N4 catalysts for hydrogen photo-production: Activity interpretation through a spectroscopic and intrinsic kinetic analysis

TL;DR: In this article, carbon nitride based materials doped with boron were used as support to deposit platinum and were tested in the photo-production of hydrogen using methanol as a sacrificial molecule.
Journal ArticleDOI

XANES Analysis of Catalytic Systems under Reaction Conditions.

TL;DR: An overview of the XANES technique contribution to the analysis of multicomponent catalysts can be found in this paper, where the theoretical basis of the technique, the interpretation of the energy position and intensity, and the numerical methods developed to interpret X-ANES data on catalytic systems are described and discussed.
Book ChapterDOI

Support effect over rhodium catalysts during the reforming of methane by carbon dioxide

TL;DR: In situ XANES experiments have provided strong support to an alternative mechanism of CO2 activation during the dry reforming of methane over rhodium catalysts which depends on the support nature (SiO2 vs. Al2O3).
