Journal ArticleDOI

Improved Assessment of Longitudinal Spinal Cord Atrophy in Multiple Sclerosis Using a Registration-Based Approach: Relevance for Clinical Studies.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared a registration-based method with two existing methods (active surface [AS] and propagation segmentation [PropSeg]) to measure cord atrophy changes over time in MS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Neural precursor cells tune striatal connectivity through the release of IGFBPL1

TL;DR: In this article , the authors provide evidence that SVZ-eNPCs tune structural, electrophysiological, and behavioural aspects of striatal function via secretion of insulin-like growth factor binding protein-like 1 (IGFBPL1).
Book ChapterDOI

A Semi-automatic Method for Segmentation of Multiple Sclerosis Lesions on Dual-Echo Magnetic Resonance Images

TL;DR: High similarity between the segmentation performed with this method and that performed manually by an expert operator, as well as a low misclassification of lesions are revealed, and the time required for segmentation is drastically reduced.
