Pietro Lampertico,Roberta Soffredini,Mauro Viganò,Cihan Yurdaydin,Ramazan Idilman,G. Papatheodoris,K. Margheriti,M. Buti,R. Esteban,Serena Zaltron,A. Vavassori,G. Carosi,Ernesto Minola,Maria Cristina Vinci,G. Pinzello,Alessia Giorgini,Massimo Zuin,A. Salmi,María Isabel Colombo +18 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Neutrophil autophagy during human active tuberculosis is modulated by SLAMF1
Joaquín Miguel Pellegrini,Florencia Sabbione,María Paula Morelli,Nancy Liliana Tateosian,Florencia Andrea Castello,Nicolás Oscar Amiano,Domingo Palmero,Alberto Levi,Lorena Ciallella,María Isabel Colombo,Analía Silvina Trevani,Verónica E. García +11 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated for the first time that human neutrophils express SLAMF1 upon Mtb-stimulation and results indicate that SLAMf1 participates in neutrophil autophagy during active tuberculosis.

TL;DR: On-treatment HBs Ag monitoring could be used to tailor the regimen and improve the HBsAg response, and may occur even in patients with pegIFNa2a-inducedHBsAg clearance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chronic Infections: A Possible Scenario for Autophagy and Senescence Cross-Talk
Milton Osmar Aguilera,Laura Ruth Delgui,Laura Ruth Delgui,Patricia Silvia Romano,María Isabel Colombo +4 more
TL;DR: Current knowledge about important issues related to aging, senescence, and autophagy is summarized and the link between the three actors remains unexplored.
Journal ArticleDOI
Soluble N‐ethylmaleimide‐sensitive factor attachment protein receptors required during Trypanosoma cruzi parasitophorous vacuole development
Juan Agustín Cueto,María Cristina Vanrell,Betiana Nebaí Salassa,Sébastien Nola,Thierry Galli,María Isabel Colombo,Patricia Silvia Romano +6 more
TL;DR: Results show that inhibition of N‐ethylmaleimide‐sensitive factor protein, a protein required for SNARE complex disassembly, impairs T. cruzi infection susceptibility, and support a key role of TI‐VAMP/VAMP7 in the fusion events that culminate in the T.cruzi parasitophorous vacuole development.
