Intra-night optical variability of AGN in the COSMOS field with the KMTNet

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated intra-night optical variability of AGN in the COSMOS field in order to understand the AGN instability at the smallest scale using KMTNet.
Journal ArticleDOI

A kinematic study of the compact jet in quasar B3 1633+382

TL;DR: In this article, the motion of compact jet components in quasar B3 1633+382 was analyzed through 14 epochs of VLBI observations of three components (B1, B2, and B3) at 22 GHz.
Journal ArticleDOI

Deconstructing blazars: A different scheme for jet kinematics in flat-spectrum AGN

TL;DR: In this paper, the Caltech-Jodrell Bank flat-spectrum (CJF) sample of radio-loud active galaxies was used to study the apparent linear and angular evolution of the CJF jet ridge lines, as well as their morphology.
Journal ArticleDOI

Unraveling the Complex Structure of AGN-driven Outflows. V. Integral-field Spectroscopy of 40 Moderate-luminosity Type-2 AGNs

TL;DR: In this paper, an integral-field spectroscopic observations of 40 moderate-luminosity (10$^{41.5}$ $<$ L$_{\rm [OIII];cor}$$<$ 10$^{43.1}$ erg s$^{-1]$) Type-2 AGNs at z ≥ 0.1, which present strong outflow signatures in the integrated [O III] kinematics.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ionized-gas Kinematics Along the Large-scale Radio Jets in Type-2 AGNs

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the ionized-gas kinematics based on an [O iii] λ5007 emission line along the large-scale radio jet for six radio AGNs and found that the typical central AGN-photoionization radius of their targets are in range of 0.9-1.6 kpc, consistent with the size-luminosity relation.
