THE PREVALENCE OF GAS OUTFLOWS IN TYPE 2 AGNs
TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed analysis on gas kinematics as manifested by the velocity dispersion and shift of the [O III] {\lambda}5007 emission line, using a large sample of ~39,000 type 2 AGNs at z < 0.3.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: The Lick AGN Monitoring Project 2011 observing campaign was carried out over the course of 11 weeks in spring 2011, and the first results from this program, a measurement of the broad-line reverberation lag in the Seyfert 1 galaxy Mrk 50, were presented in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetically Actuated Soft Capsule Endoscope for Fine-Needle Biopsy.
TL;DR: A magnetically actuated soft robotic capsule robot, which takes biopsy samples in a deep tissue of a stomach using the fine-needle biopsy technique, is proposed and the design, control, and human-machine interfacing methods for thefine-needled biopsy capsule robot are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
A 5-D Localization Method for a Magnetically Manipulated Untethered Robot Using a 2-D Array of Hall-Effect Sensors
TL;DR: A new 5-D localization method for an untethered meso-scale magnetic robot, which is manipulated by a computer-controlled electromagnetic system, and five variables regarding the position and orientation of the robot are determined by minimizing the error between the measured magnetic field and the modeled magnetic field in an optimization method.
