Journal ArticleDOI

Merocytic Dendritic Cells Compose a Conventional Dendritic Cell Subset with Low Metabolic Activity.

TL;DR: Merocytic dendritic cells (mcDCs) express ZBTB46 and originate from pre-cDCs, and it is found that they bear true characteristics of cDC subsets, in which cDC1, cDC2, and mcDCs all present with different metabolic phenotypes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dieldrin induces human neutrophil superoxide production via protein kinases C and tyrosine kinases

TL;DR: Dieldrin-induced O2¡ response was significantly reduced with treatment with genistein, H-7, HA-1077, staurosporine, and calphostin C, whereas PMA-induced response was substantially reduced, indicating that dieldrin mediates its effect via protein kinases C (PKCs) and tyrosine kinases.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced myelopoiesis and aggravated arthritis in S100a8-deficient mice.

TL;DR: This study suggests that S100A8 is an anti-inflammatory DAMP that regulates myeloid cell differentiation, thereby mitigating the development of experimental arthritis.
Journal ArticleDOI

A FACS-Free Purification Method to Study Estrogen Signaling, Organoid Formation, and Metabolic Reprogramming in Mammary Epithelial Cells.

TL;DR: In this paper, a protocol for purification and primary culture of mouse mammary epithelial cells (MECs) was presented, which can be used to study mammary gland biology and particularly how these hormones reprogram metabolism during lactation and breast carcinogenesis.
