Journal ArticleDOI

Occurrence of .BETA.-alanine betaine in the muscles of New Zealand whiptail and southern blue whiting.

TL;DR: β-Alanine betaine (β-homobetaine) was is isolated in crystalline form from the white muscles of two species of fish, New Zealand whiptail Macruronus novaezelandidae and southern blue whiting, and identified on the basis of comparison of melting point, Rf values in TLC, IR and mass spectra with the synthetic specimen.
Journal ArticleDOI

A tool evaluating capability of neighborhood community for disaster mitigation

TL;DR: A method is developed that evaluates the level of disaster awareness and solidarity of neighborhood associations based on information, such as the implementation status of disaster drills, and a support tool is developed based on the evaluation method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Doyle—Kirmse Reaction Using Triazoles Leading to One‐Pot Multifunctionalization of Terminal Alkynes.

TL;DR: In this paper, 1-Sulfonyl-1,2,3-triazoles undergo a Doyle-Kirmse reaction upon treatment with allylic sulfides in the presence of a rhodium(II) catalyst to afford α-allyl-α-sulfanylimines.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of Enaminones by Rhodium-Catalyzed Denitrogenative Rearrangement of 1-(N-Sulfonyl-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)alkanols.

TL;DR: The reaction proceeds by denitrogenation of the triazol moiety generating an α-imino Rh(II) carbenoid which undergoes 1,2-hydride or 1, 2-alkyl migration.
