Journal ArticleDOI
Braunixanthins 1 and 2, new carotenoids from the green microalga Botryococcus braunii
TL;DR: In this article, two carotenoids, braunixanthins 1 ( 1 ) and 2 ( 2 ), were isolated from the colonial matrix of the green microalga Botryococcus braunii Kawaguchi-1 strain.
Journal ArticleDOI
Intramolecular σ-Bond Metathesis Between Carbon–Carbon and Silicon–Silicon Bonds
TL;DR: An intramolecular σ-bond metathesis between carbon-carbon and silicon-silicon bonds took place on treatment of a disilane tethered to a cyclobutanone with a palladium(0) catalyst, furnishing a silaindane skeleton as well as an acylsilane functionality at once.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rhodium-catalyzed borylative cyclization of 2-alkynylaryl isocyanates with bis(pinacolato)diboron.
TL;DR: 2-alkynylaryl isocyanates reacted with bis(pinacolato)diboron in the presence of a cationic rhodium(I) catalyst to produce borylated 3-alkylideneoxindoles stereoselectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of Amine−Borane Intramolecular Complexes through Palladium-Catalyzed Rearrangement of Ammonioalkynyltriarylborates
TL;DR: The palladium-catalyzed rearrangement reaction of alkynyltriarylborates having a tertiary ammonium moiety stereoselectively afforded amine-borane intramolecular complexes, some of which exhibited significantly strong fluorescence.
Journal ArticleDOI
Oscillapeptin, an elastase and chymotrypsin inhibitor from the cyanobacterium Oscillatoria agardhii (NIES-204)
TL;DR: Oscillapeptin, a new cyclic depsipeptide that inhibits elastase and chymotrypsin, was isolated from the cyanobacterium Oscillatoria agardhii and its structure was elucidated by extensive 2D NMR and chemical degradation.
