Human inherited complete STAT2 deficiency underlies inflammatory viral diseases
Giorgia Bucciol,Leen Moens,Masato Ogishi,Darawan Rinchai,Daniela Matuozzo,Mana Momenilandi,Catherine M. Cale,Elsa Treffeisen,Bandar Al-Saud,Alain Lachaux,Rémi Duclaux-Loras,Marie Meignien,Aziz Bousfiha,Ibtihal Benhsaien,Anna Shcherbina,Anna Roppelt,Florian Gothe,Nadhira Houhou-Fidouh,Scott Hackett,Lisa M. Bartnikas,Michelle C. Maciag,Mohammed F. Alosaimi,Janet Chou,Reem Mohammed,Bishara J. Freij,Emmanuelle Jouanguy,Shen-ying Zhang,Stéphanie Boisson-Dupuis,Vivien Béziat,Qian Zhang,C. J. Duncan,Sophie Hambleton,Jean-Laurent Casanova,Isabelle Meyts +33 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors report 23 patients with loss-of-function variants causing autosomal recessive (AR) complete STAT2 deficiency, which is a transcription factor activated by type I and III IFNs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Human RELA dominant-negative mutations underlie type I interferonopathy with autoinflammation and autoimmunity.
Kunihiko Moriya,Tomohiro Nakano,Yoshitaka Honda,Miyuki Tsumura,Masato Ogishi,Motoshi Sonoda,Masahiko Nishitani-Isa,Takashi Uchida,Mohamed Hbibi,Yoko Mizoguchi,Masataka Imura,Kazushi Izawa,Takaki Asano,Fumihiko Kakuta,Daiki Abukawa,Darawan Rinchai,Peng Zhang,Naotomo Kambe,Aziz Bousfiha,Takahiro Yasumi,Bertrand Boisson,Anne Puel,Jean-Laurent Casanova,Ryuta Nishikomori,Shouichi Ohga,Satoshi Okada,Yoji Sasahara,Shigeo Kure +27 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors reported six patients from five families with additional autoinflammatory and autoimmune manifestations, all of which are heterozygous for RELA mutations, which create a premature stop codon and exert a dominant negative effect.
Posted ContentDOI
Prioritizing putatively etiological T cell epitopes across autoimmune diseases
TL;DR: A computational framework to prioritize etiologically relevant epitopes is proposed by integrating the putatively causal associations between HLA alleles and disease risk identified from population genetics, and a metric, termed “differential presentation index (DPI),” is defined, which principally reflects the relative difference of epitope abundance presented onto HLA molecules whose alleles are genetically predisposing to or protective against the specific disease.
Journal ArticleDOI
Inborn errors of human transcription factors governing IFN-γ antimycobacterial immunity.
Masato Ogishi,Rui-Fu Yang,Jérémie Rosain,Jacinta Bustamante,Jean-Laurent Casanova,Stéphanie Boisson-Dupuis +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors review 15 autosomal-dominant (AD) or -recessive (AR) IEI involving 11 transcription factors (TFs) and impairing interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) immunity, conferring a predisposition to mycobacterial diseases.
Posted ContentDOI
Immunogenicity landscape of cytotoxic T lymphocyte epitopes in sequence space
TL;DR: Using 21,146 human MHC-I-loaded peptide sequences, an accurate immunogenicity prediction is demonstrated through a sequence-based approximation of the contact potential profiles of peptides against pooled TCR repertoires in conjunction with MHC binding information, achieving the area under the curve (AUC) of 79%.
