Journal ArticleDOI
A more accurate one-dimensional analysis and design of irregular LDPC codes
TL;DR: A new one-dimensional analysis of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes on additive white Gaussian noise channels which is significantly more accurate than similar 1-D methods and allows irregular code design in a wider range of rates without any limit on the maximum variable-node degree.
Journal ArticleDOI
Two-Way Amplify-and-Forward Multiple-Input Multiple-Output Relay Networks with Antenna Selection
TL;DR: Interestingly, the outage probability results reveal that the joint relay and antenna selection strategies achieve significant diversity and array gains over those of their single relay counterparts, and the diversity orders of individual relayed-branches accumulate to yield the overall diversity of the multi-relay networks.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fast Successive-Cancellation Decoding of Polar Codes: Identification and Decoding of New Nodes
Muhammad Hanif,Masoud Ardakani +1 more
TL;DR: Five fast parallel decoders corresponding to different frozen-bit sequences to improve the decoding speed of polar codes are presented and achieves significant latency reduction without tangibly altering the bit-error-rate performance of the code.
Journal ArticleDOI

Barbie,David A. Barbie,Jesse S. Boehm,William C. Hahn,Jill P. Mesirov,Jill P. Mesirov,Pablo Tamayo,Pablo Tamayo +54 more
TL;DR: REVEALER successfully identified both known and new associations, demonstrating the power of combining functional profiles with extensive characterization of genomic alterations in cancer genomes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Output-Threshold Multiple-Relay-Selection Scheme for Cooperative Wireless Networks
TL;DR: The numerical results verify the analyses and show that OT-MRS outperforms optimal single-relay selection and generalized-selection-combining-based multiple relay-selection for low to moderately high SNRs.
