Journal ArticleDOI

Microbiota cérvico-vaginal de ovelhas mestiças e sua susceptibilidade aos antibióticos

TL;DR: The bacterial isolates obtained in this study are sensitive to most groups of antibiotics tested, demonstrating the potential use of these active ingredients, plus the availability of choice, given the lack of multidrug resistance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antimicrobial resistance profile of non-aureus Staphylococci isolates from buffalo, goat and sheep mastitis in the Northeast region of Brazil.

TL;DR: High rates of resistance to beta-lactams are presented among NAS isolated from mastitis cases in buffaloes, goats and sheep in Northeast region of Brazil, suggesting that the frequency of NAS needs to be reduced because they carry resistance genes which might increase the existing levels of antimicrobial resistance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inclusion of discarded banana in sugarcane silage decreases dry matter losses and improves its nutritional value

TL;DR: The inclusion of 15% banana or acerola in SCS decreases losses and increases DM recovery and improves the nutritional value of SCS, as well as reducing gas losses and increasing DM recovery.
Journal ArticleDOI

Resistance of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis in the Brazilian semiarid environment

TL;DR: The aim of the present study was to assess the survival and biofilm production of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis isolates in the environment and under controlled temperatures under different surfaces (plants, soil, wood, wire and thorns).
Journal ArticleDOI

Bubaline mastitis etiology in Northeast of Brazil

TL;DR: Os resultados obtidos neste trabalho demonstram uma elevada prevalencia de mastite subclinica em rebanhos bubalinos no Nordeste do Brasil, especialmente causadas by Staphylococcus coagulase negativa (SCN).
