CSPAMM assessment of systolic and diastolic left ventricular apical rotation in obesity

TL;DR: Complementary SPAtial Modulation of Magnetization (CSPAMM) was used to assess the apical LV rotation in otherwise healthy obese individuals and lean controls and demonstrated that the peak LV systolic rotation in obese individuals was slightly higher.

Single breathhold 3D balanced SSFP coronary MRA at 3.0T: a reproducibility study

TL;DR: This work develops an accelerated single breathhold bSSFP sequence at 3.0T taking advantage of hardware and software advances, and test reproducibility of the implemented sequence.

Coronary endothelial function is directly related to extent of weight loss in obese patients

TL;DR: Test the hypothesis that weight loss over six months is associated with better coronary endothelial function (EndoFx) in obese, non-diabetic individuals by means of previously described noninvasive MRI methods combined with isometric handgrip to assess endothelial-dependent coronary vasoreactivity.
