Journal ArticleDOI
Reduced sensitivity of SARS-CoV-2 variant Delta to antibody neutralization.
Delphine Planas,David Veyer,Artem Baidaliuk,Isabelle Staropoli,Florence Guivel-Benhassine,Maaran Michael Rajah,Maaran Michael Rajah,Cyril Planchais,Françoise Porrot,Nicolas Robillard,Julien Puech,Matthieu Prot,Floriane Gallais,Pierre Gantner,Aurélie Velay,Julien Le Guen,Najiby Kassis-Chikhani,Dhiaeddine Edriss,Laurent Bélec,Aymeric Sève,Laura Courtellemont,Hélène Péré,Laurent Hocqueloux,Samira Fafi-Kremer,Thierry Prazuck,Hugo Mouquet,Timothée Bruel,Etienne Simon-Loriere,Félix A. Rey,Olivier Schwartz +29 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an infectious strain of the SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant was isolated from an individual with COVID-19 who had returned to France from India.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sensitivity of infectious SARS-CoV-2 B.1.1.7 and B.1.351 variants to neutralizing antibodies.
Delphine Planas,Delphine Planas,Timothée Bruel,Timothée Bruel,Ludivine Grzelak,Florence Guivel-Benhassine,Florence Guivel-Benhassine,Isabelle Staropoli,Isabelle Staropoli,Françoise Porrot,Françoise Porrot,Cyril Planchais,Julian Buchrieser,Julian Buchrieser,Maaran Michael Rajah,Elodie Bishop,Mélanie Albert,Mélanie Albert,Flora Donati,Flora Donati,Matthieu Prot,Sylvie Behillil,Sylvie Behillil,Vincent Enouf,Vincent Enouf,Marianne Maquart,Mounira Smati-Lafarge,Emmanuelle Varon,Frédérique Schortgen,Layla Yahyaoui,María González,Jérôme De Seze,Hélène Péré,David Veyer,Aymeric Sève,Etienne Simon-Loriere,Samira Fafi-Kremer,Karl Stefic,Hugo Mouquet,Laurent Hocqueloux,Sylvie van der Werf,Sylvie van der Werf,Thierry Prazuck,Olivier Schwartz,Olivier Schwartz +44 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the sensitivity of the two variants to SARS-CoV-2 antibodies present in sera and nasal swabs from individuals infected with previously circulating strains or who were recently vaccinated, in comparison with a D614G reference virus was examined.
Journal ArticleDOI
The extracellular signal-regulated kinase isoform ERK1 is specifically required for in vitro and in vivo adipogenesis.
Frédéric Bost,Myriam Aouadi,Leslie Caron,Patrick C. Even,Nathalie Belmonte,Matthieu Prot,Christian Dani,Paul Hofman,Gilles Pagès,Jacques Pouysségur,Yannick Le Marchand-Brustel,Bernard Binétruy +11 more
TL;DR: The results clearly link ERK1 to the regulation of adipocyte differentiation, adiposity, and high-fat diet-induced obesity, and suggest that a therapeutic approach of obesity targeting specifically the ERK 1 isoform and not ERK2 would be of particular interest.
Journal ArticleDOI
Serum neutralization of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron sublineages BA.1 and BA.2 in patients receiving monoclonal antibodies
Timothée Bruel,Jérôme Hadjadj,Piet Maes,Delphine Planas,Aymeric Sève,Isabelle Staropoli,Florence Guivel-Benhassine,Françoise Porrot,William Bolland,Yann Nguyen,Marion Casadevall,Caroline Charre,Hélène Péré,David Veyer,Matthieu Prot,Artem Baidaliuk,Lize Cuypers,Cyril Planchais,Hugo Mouquet,Guy Baele,Luc Mouthon,Laurent Hocqueloux,Etienne Simon-Loriere,Emmanuel André,Benjamin Terrier,Thierry Prazuck,Olivier Schwartz +26 more
TL;DR: In this article , the sensitivity of BA.1 and BA.2 to neutralization by nine therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) was compared, and it was found that BA. 2 was sensitive to cilgavimab, partly inhibited by imdevimab and resistant to adintrevimab.
Posted ContentDOI
Reduced sensitivity of infectious SARS-CoV-2 variant B.1.617.2 to monoclonal antibodies and sera from convalescent and vaccinated individuals
Delphine Planas,David Veyer,Artem Baidaliuk,Isabelle Staropoli,Florence Guivel-Benhassine,Maaran Michael Rajah,Maaran Michael Rajah,Cyril Planchais,Françoise Porrot,Nicolas Robillard,Julien Puech,Matthieu Prot,Floriane Gallais,Pierre Gantner,Aurélie Velay,Julien Le Guen,Najibi Kassis-Chikhani,Dhiaeddine Edriss,Laurent Bélec,Aymeric Sève,Hélène Péré,Laura Courtellemenont,Laurent Hocqueloux,Samira Fafi-Kremer,Thierry Prazuck,Hugo Mouquet,Timothée Bruel,Etienne Simon-Loriere,Félix A. Rey,Olivier Schwartz +29 more
TL;DR: The SARS-CoV-2 B.1.617 lineage emerged in October 2020 in India1-6.7.1 and has since then become dominant in some indian regions and further spread to many countries.
