Ruthenium Arene Derivatives with PN Hemilabile Ligands. P−C Cleavage and Phosphine to Phosphinite Transformation
Agustı́n Caballero,Félix A. Jalón,Blanca R. Manzano,Gustavo Espino,Mercedes Pérez-Manrique,A. E. Mucientes,and Francisco J. Poblete,Miguel A. Maestro +7 more
TL;DR: Complexes of formula [RuCl2(arene)(κ1-dpim)] (dpim = 2-(diphenylphosphino)-1-methylimidazole) (arene = p-cymene, 1a; C6H6, 1b) were prepared by the reaction of [RuCL2(p-cyclmene)]2 or [Rucl2(C6H 6)(CH...
Journal ArticleDOI
Arene Ruthenium Complexes as Versatile Catalysts in Water in both Transfer Hydrogenation of Ketones and Oxidation of Alcohols. Selective Deuterium Labeling of rac-1-Phenylethanol
Cristina Aliende,Mercedes Pérez-Manrique,Félix A. Jalón,Blanca R. Manzano,Ana M. Rodríguez,Gustavo Espino +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the preparation of three series of arene Ru(II) half-sandwich compounds with the functional ligand 4,4′-dimethoxy-2,2′-bipyridine (dmobpy) is described.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation of new half sandwich ruthenium arene complexes with aminophosphines as potential chemotherapeutics
Cristina Aliende,Mercedes Pérez-Manrique,Félix A. Jalón,Blanca R. Manzano,Ana M. Rodríguez,José V. Cuevas,Gustavo Espino,Ma Angeles Martínez,Anna Massaguer,Marta González-Bártulos,Rafael de Llorens,Virtudes Moreno +11 more
TL;DR: The cytotoxic activity trends are explained in terms of the higher reactivity of derivatives from series b, which is rationalized as being the result of the electronic features of dpim and PPh(2)py established by cyclic voltammetry measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rhodium(I) Complexes with OPPy2Ph and OPPy3 (Py = 2‐Pyridyl), and Their Behavior in Hydrogenation Reactions
Juan A. Casares,Pablo Espinet,Jose M. Martín-Alvarez,Gustavo Espino,Mercedes Pérez-Manrique,Florencia Vattier +5 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and spectroscopic studies of new hydridoruthenium complexes: catalytic reactions of [RuHCl(bpzm)(cod)] (bpzm = bis(pyrazol-1-yl)methane, cod = cycloocta-1,5-diene)
TL;DR: In this paper, a triflate-containing trans-[RuHCl(bpzm)(cod)]CF3SO3 (1) with one equivalent of AgCF3 SO3 was shown to be a trans-CF3SOP3 with a turn-over rate of 880 h−1.
