Journal ArticleDOI

The cycloaddition strategy for the synthesis of natural products containing carbocyclic seven-membered rings.

TL;DR: The major cycloaddition approaches utilized to access highly substituted carbocyclic seven-membered rings and primarily focuses on examples employed in the synthesis of natural products.
Journal ArticleDOI

Detection of Secretion from Single Pancreatic β-Cells Using Extracellular Fluorogenic Reactions and Confocal Fluorescence Microscopy

TL;DR: The Zn2+ efflux corresponded to exocytosis of insulin/Zn(2+)-containing granules from the beta-cell, since insulin is co-stored with Zn 2+ in secretory vesicles, it was concluded.
Journal ArticleDOI

Trimethylsilyl fluorosulfonyldifluoroacetate (TFDA): a new, highly efficient difluorocarbene reagent

TL;DR: TFDA is readily prepared from the reaction of fluorosulfonyidifluoroacetic acid with trimethylsilyl chloride, and it is a very effective and efficient source of difluorocarbene for use in addition reactions to alkenes of a broad scope of reactivities as mentioned in this paper.
