The Second-Generation Guide Star Catalog: Description and Properties
Barry M. Lasker,Mario G. Lattanzi,Brian McLean,Beatrice Bucciarelli,Ronald Drimmel,Jorge Garcia,Gretchen Greene,F. Guglielmetti,Christopher Hanley,George Hawkins,Victoria G. Laidler,Charles Loomis,Michael G. Meakes,Roberto Mignani,Roberto Morbidelli,J. E. Morrison,R. Pannunzio,Amy Rosenberg,M. Sarasso,Richard L. Smart,Alessandro Spagna,C. R. Sturch,A. Volpicelli,Richard L. White,D. Wolfe,Andrea Zacchei +25 more
TL;DR: The Guide Star Catalog II (GSC-II) as mentioned in this paper is an all-sky database of objects derived from the uncompressed Digitized Sky Surveys that the Space Telescope Science Institute has created from the Palomar and UK Schmidt survey plates and made available to the community.

Evolution of the 1919 ejecta of v605 aquilae
Geoffrey C. Clayton,Howard E. Bond,Howard E. Bond,Lindsey A. Long,Paul I. Meyer,Ben Sugerman,E. Montiel,William B. Sparks,Michael G. Meakes,Olivier Chesneau,O. De Marco +10 more
TL;DR: In 2009, a new image of V605?Aql was obtained with HST/WFPC2, which had a nova-like outburst in 1919, and is located at the center of the planetary nebula (PN), A58.
Journal ArticleDOI
The pulsating nucleus of the planetary nebula Longmore 4
Howard E. Bond,Michael G. Meakes +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the central star of the planetary nebula Longmore 4 is a multi-periodic pulsator and its spectrum is dominated by features of He II and C IV, and its pulsation periods are very similar to those of the other known pulsating central star K 1-16.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hubble Space Telescope Imaging of the Binary Nucleus of the Planetary Nebula EGB 6
James Liebert,Howard E. Bond,Howard E. Bond,Patrick Dufour,Robin Ciardullo,Michael G. Meakes,Alvio Renzini,Alexandros Gianninas +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the origin and confinement of EGB-6 and found that the compact emission nebula is superposed on the dM companion, far from the photoionizing radiation of the WD.
