The Second-Generation Guide Star Catalog: Description and Properties

TL;DR: The Guide Star Catalog II (GSC-II) as mentioned in this paper is an all-sky database of objects derived from the uncompressed Digitized Sky Surveys that the Space Telescope Science Institute has created from the Palomar and UK Schmidt survey plates and made available to the community.
Journal ArticleDOI

The pulsating nucleus of the planetary nebula Longmore 4

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the central star of the planetary nebula Longmore 4 is a multi-periodic pulsator and its spectrum is dominated by features of He II and C IV, and its pulsation periods are very similar to those of the other known pulsating central star K 1-16.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hubble Space Telescope Imaging of the Binary Nucleus of the Planetary Nebula EGB 6

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the origin and confinement of EGB-6 and found that the compact emission nebula is superposed on the dM companion, far from the photoionizing radiation of the WD.
