TL;DR: In this article, it is shown through a simple mechanical test that grafting of 4-nitrophenyl groups occurs simultaneously with the reduction to 4-aminophenyl groups which, in their turn, can react with the epoxy functions of epoxy resins.

Electropolymerization of pyrrole on iron electrodes: Influence of solvent and electrolyte on the nature of the deposits
TL;DR: In this paper, the pyrrole electropolymerization process was also found to depend drastically on the acidity of the medium, and the structure of the films appeared to be quite similar to that of polypyrrole films obtained on a noble metal electrode.
