Quantized Majorana conductance.
Hao Zhang,Chun-Xiao Liu,Sasa Gazibegovic,Di Xu,John A. Logan,Guanzhong Wang,Nick van Loo,Jouri D. S. Bommer,Michiel W. A. de Moor,Diana Car,Roy L. M. Op het Veld,Petrus J. van Veldhoven,Sebastian Koelling,Marcel A. Verheijen,Marcel A. Verheijen,Mihir Pendharkar,Daniel J. Pennachio,Borzoyeh Shojaei,Joon Sue Lee,Chris Palmstrom,Erik P. A. M. Bakkers,S. Das Sarma,Leo P. Kouwenhoven,Leo P. Kouwenhoven +23 more
TL;DR: The observation of a quantized conductance plateau at 2e2/h in the zero-bias conductance measured in indium antimonide semiconductor nanowires covered with an aluminium superconducting shell strongly supports the existence of Majorana zero-modes in the system.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electric field tunable superconductor-semiconductor coupling in Majorana nanowires
Michiel W. A. de Moor,Jouri D. S. Bommer,Di Xu,Georg W. Winkler,Andrey E. Antipov,Arno Bargerbos,Guanzhong Wang,Nick van Loo,Roy L. M. Op het Veld,Roy L. M. Op het Veld,Sasa Gazibegovic,Sasa Gazibegovic,Diana Car,Diana Car,John A. Logan,Mihir Pendharkar,Joon Sue Lee,Erik P. A. M. Bakkers,Erik P. A. M. Bakkers,Chris Palmstrom,Roman M. Lutchyn,Leo P. Kouwenhoven,Hao Zhang +22 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of external electric fields on superconductor-semiconductor coupling was studied by measuring the electron transport in InSb semiconductor nanowires coupled to an epitaxially grown Al superconductuctor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrically Reconfigurable Metasurfaces Using Heterojunction Resonators
TL;DR: In this paper, an electrically reconfigurable metasurface comprising an array of 1D semiconductor Mie resonators on a reflecting ground plane is theoretically demonstrated, based on magnetic dipole modes that interfere with image fields in a metal substrate to produce a 2π phase shift in reflection about the resonance wavelength.
Journal ArticleDOI
Conductance-Matrix Symmetries of a Three-Terminal Hybrid Device.
Gerbold Menard,G. L. R. Anselmetti,Esteban Martínez,Denise Puglia,Filip K. Malinowski,Joon Sue Lee,Sukgeun Choi,Mihir Pendharkar,Chris Palmstrom,Karsten Flensberg,Charles Marcus,Lucas Casparis,Andrew Higginbotham +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a three-terminal superconductor-semiconductor hybrid device consisting of two normal leads and one superconducting lead is analyzed using a symmetry decomposition of the conductance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ultrawide thermal free-carrier tuning of dielectric antennas coupled to epsilon-near-zero substrates.
TL;DR: Refractive index tuning at mid-infrared wavelengths using temperature-dependent control over the low loss plasma frequency in III-V semiconductors is demonstrated and dynamically steady-state tunable Mie resonances are demonstrated.
