Journal ArticleDOI

Thrombectomy with or without intravenous thrombolytics in basilar artery occlusion.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the efficacy and safety of endovascular therapy (EVT) alone compared to IVT+EVT in stroke patients with a basilar artery occlusion (BAO).
Journal ArticleDOI

Thrombus Composition and Thrombolysis Resistance in Stroke

TL;DR: In this article , the authors reviewed recent findings on how compaction and structural alterations of fibrin together with nonfibrin thrombus components such as neutrophil extracellular traps and von Willebrand factor interfere with IVT in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) thrombi.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thrombose veineuse cérébrale et drépanocytose : caractéristiques cliniques, facteurs associés et prise en charge spécifique

TL;DR: In this paper , the diagnosis of thrombose veineuse cérébrale (TVC) has been investigated in the context of drépanocytose.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interaction between intravenous thrombolysis and clinical outcome between slow and fast progressors undergoing mechanical thrombectomy: a post-hoc analysis of the SWIFT-DIRECT trial

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the effect of intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) (with alteplase) plus mechanical thrombectomy (MT) versus thrombinectomy alone among slow versus fast stroke progressors, and did not find evidence for a significant interaction of the velocity of infarct growth on the odds of favorable outcome according to treatment by MT alone or combined IVT+MT.
