Stage T1N0M0 renal cell carcinoma: the prognosis in Asian patients.
Zhi Ling Zhang,Wei Chen,Yong Hong Li,Zhuo Wei Liu,Jun Hang Luo,Weber Kam On Lau,Min-Han Tan,Fang Jian Zhou +7 more
TL;DR: The data indicates that patients with T1b disease and high Fuhrman grade have high risk of tumor recurrence and death, thus requiring more frequent follow-up, and these results are comparable to previously reported studies in Western patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clinical and molecular characteristics of East Asian patients with von Hippel–Lindau syndrome
Meihua Wong,Ying-Hsia Chu,Hwei Ling Tan,Hideharu Bessho,Joanne Ngeow,Tiffany Tang,Min-Han Tan +6 more
TL;DR: Evidence suggests that the genotypic and phenotypic characteristics of East Asian patients with VHL syndrome differ from other populations, which should be considered when making screening recommendations for V HL syndrome in Asia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Assessment of PARP4 as a candidate breast cancer susceptibility gene
Aldo Prawira,Prabhakaran Munusamy,Jimin Yuan,Claire Hian Tzer Chan,Geok Ling Koh,Timothy Wai Ho Shuen,Jiancheng Hu,Yoon Sim Yap,Min-Han Tan,Peter Ang,Ann Siew Gek Lee +10 more
TL;DR: PARP4 knockout did not affect the clonogenicity, proliferation rate, and migration of normal breast cells, but appeared to decrease the proliferation rate and clonogensicity of breast cancer cells.
Posted ContentDOI
Recognizing the Continuous Nature of Expression Heterogeneity and Clinical Outcomes in Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma
Xiaona Wei,Yukti Choudhury,Weng Khong Lim,John Anema,Richard J. Kahnoski,Brian R. Lane,John Ludlow,Masayuki Takahashi,Hiro-omi Kanayama,Arie S. Belldegrun,Hyung L. Kim,Craig G. Rogers,David Nicol,Bin Tean Teh,Min-Han Tan +14 more
TL;DR: The CLEAR score, a gene expression signature developed on histopathology, outperformed discrete subtype-classification in prognostic estimates and correlated better with treatment outcomes.
Journal Article
Prospective audit of post-chemotherapy febrile neutropenia in patients with solid cancer and lymphoma in two Singaporean cancer centres.
Mabel Wong,Jing Jin,Min-Han Tan,Yee Mei Lee,Ten Eng Lee,Ying Ding,Hong Chan Yong,Siew Eng Lim,Louis Ya Chai,Noan Minh Chau,Li Yang Hsu +10 more
TL;DR: This audit demonstrated that mortality from FN in 2 cancer centres is low and comparable to international institutions, and demonstrates that outpatient management of FN is safe in selected patients, and can be further expanded for right-siting of resources.
