A study of event-by-event fluctuations in relativistic heavy-ion collisions
TL;DR: A method for selecting events with densely populated narrow regions or spikes in a given data sample is discussed in this article, where the results reveal that a systematic study of particle density fluctuations, if carried out in terms of scaled factorial moments, would be useful in identifying events with large dynamical fluctuations.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Study of Fluctuations of Voids in Relativistic Ion-Ion Collisions
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of voids on phase space bin width is examined in terms of two lowest moments of event-by-event fluctuations of void, and the scaling exponent estimated from the observed power-law behavior of the voids may be used to characterize the various properties of hadronic phase transition.
Journal ArticleDOI
A study of fluctuations of voids in relativistic ion-ion collisions
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of voids on phase space bin width is examined in terms of two lowest moments of ebe fluctuations of the voids, 〈Gq〉 and Sq.
Preparation and characterization of silver coated alumina for isolation of iodine-131 from fission products
Ahmad Mushtaq,S. Pervez,Sadiq Hussain,Mohd Asif,M. Usman Siddique,J. A. Mirza,Muhammad Khan,U. Khalid,Muhammad Abrar ul haq,Khuram Shahzad +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a survey of the state of the art in the field of bioinformatics and computer science, and propose a methodology to evaluate the results.
Journal ArticleDOI
Treatment outcomes of patients with tuberculosis in war affected region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
Tauseef Ahmad,Tauseef Ahmad,Muhammad Ayub Jadoon,Muhammad Khan,Haroon,Muhammad Hassan Khan,Akbar Hussain,Taha Hussein Musa,Muhammad Waqar,Eyasu Ejeta,Manoochehr Karami,Kefyalew Addis Alene,Kefyalew Addis Alene,Kefyalew Addis Alene,Hui Jin +14 more
TL;DR: Type of TB, age, treatment category, and year of enrollment were significantly associated with successful treatment outcomes, but still need to be improved to achieve the international targeted treatment outcome.
