Facile synthesis of ZIF-8 incorporated electrospun PAN/PEI nanofibrous composite membrane for efficient Cr(VI) adsorption from water

TL;DR: In this article , a novel zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF-8) nanoparticles based electrospun polyacrylonitrile (PAN)/polyethylenimine (PEI) nanofibrous composite membranes (NCMs) were prepared and characterized by SEM, XRD, FTIR, TGA and other characterization techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI

Realistic dielectric response of high temperature sintered ZnO ceramic: a microscopic and spectroscopic approach

TL;DR: In this paper, the combined effects of grain boundaries and voids are considered responsible for the apparent colossal dielectric constant (e′) > 104 at low frequency (∼102 Hz) for all the sintered ZnO ceramics.
Journal ArticleDOI

Non-dispersive solvent absorption of post-combustion CO2 in membrane contactors using ionic liquids

TL;DR: In this article , the effects of contact angle, liquid entry pressure (LEP), initial CO 2 concentration, and type of solvents and membrane material on the CO 2 capture efficiency and membrane wetting in the PCC process have been experimentally investigated and evaluated.
Journal ArticleDOI

First report of perfluoroalkyl acids (PFAAs) in the Indus Drainage System: Occurrence, source and environmental risk.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors assessed the occurrence of PFAAs in the Indus Drainage System and discerned their potential sources and environmental risks for the first time in Pakistan.
