Journal ArticleDOI

Chk2-deficient mice exhibit radioresistance and defective p53-mediated transcription.

TL;DR: Chk2 plays a critical role in p53 function in response to IR by regulating its transcriptional activity as well as its stability, suggesting the existence of an ATM/ATR‐dependent but Chk2‐independent pathway for p53 stabilization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Human IgGFc Binding Protein (FcγBP) in Colonic Epithelial Cells Exhibits Mucin-like Structure

TL;DR: Cloning a cDNA for human IgGFc binding protein (FcγBP) from human colonic epithelial cells reveals an mRNA and coding region of 17 and 16.2 kilobases, respectively, suggesting that Fcγ BP may play an important role in immune protection and inflammation in the intestines of primates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Distribution and partial characterisation of IgG Fc binding protein in various mucin producing cells and body fluids

TL;DR: The immunohistochemical study revealed that mucin secreting cells in the colon, small intestine, gall bladder, cystic duct, choledochus, bronchus, submandibular gland, and cervix uteri contained FcγBP, and immunodotblot and immunoprecipitation analysis using IgG and monoclonal antibodies demonstrated that the fluids secreted by these cells were capable of binding IgG.
Patent

Coumarin derivative having antitumor activity

TL;DR: In this article, a compound represented by general formula (1) below or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof (2) is presented. But the present invention does not provide a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound or salt as an active ingredient.
