Employing dual scaling mode for adaptive hill climbing method on buck converter
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed an adaptive hill climbing method, where variable stepping is achieved by sizing the change of power over the change voltage (dP PV/dV PV) and change of the power over change of D to appropriate step size using a properly tuned scaling factor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Review of spinel LiMn2O4 cathode materials under high cut-off voltage in lithium-ion batteries: Challenges and strategies
Z. Iskandar Radzi,K. Helmy Arifin,M. Zieauddin Kufian,Vishnu Balakrishnan,S. Rohani Sheikh Raihan,Nasrudin Abd Rahim,Ramesh Subramaniam +6 more
TL;DR: LiMn2O4 as mentioned in this paper is a spinel-structured lithium manganese oxide (LMnO4) battery with high voltage stability, and various modification strategies, such as doping and surface coating, are proposed to acquire high-voltage LiMn 2O4.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Analysis of energy savings for rewinding and replacement of industrial motor
TL;DR: In this article, the economic viability of introducing high efficiency motors compared to the rewind and standard motor in the industrial sector has been analyzed and estimated and it has been found that a high efficiency motor can save an average 5.5 % of energy compared to a standard motor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Economic Load Dispatch with Nonsmooth Cost Functions Using Evolutionary Particle Swarm Optimization
TL;DR: In this article, an evolutionary particle swarm optimization (EPSO) method for solving the nonconvex economic load dispatch (ELD) problem is presented, where the evolutionary programming concept (combination, tournament competition, sorting, and selection) is employed in the classical PSO method in order to find the best individual and best group position based on the survival particle.
Journal ArticleDOI
Generalized Selective Harmonic Elimination Modulation for Transistor-Clamped H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter
TL;DR: In this paper, a simple approach for the selective harmonic elimination (SHE) of multilevel inverter based on the transistor-clamped H-bridge (TCHB) family is presented.
