Quantifying thermophysical properties, characterization, and thermal cycle testing of nano-enhanced organic eutectic phase change materials for thermal energy storage applications

TL;DR: In this article , a nano-enhanced eutectic phase change materials (NeUPCMs) were synthesized using paraffin wax, palmitic acid, and TiO 2 .
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Feedforward Fault-Tolerant Control for Three-Phase Induction Motor Drives with Single Open Circuit Fault

TL;DR: A mathematical approach is introduced to elucidate the relation between the controller output and applied voltage to the motor terminal, the place in which the fault might occur, and the effectiveness of the proposed fault-tolerant controller is verified and compared, ensuring the smooth operation in postfault mode.

Energy Use, Energy Savings and Environmental Analysis of Industrial Boilers and Compressors

TL;DR: In this article, the authors have estimated energy use, energy and bill savings, emission reduction and pay period using high efficient motor, variable speed drive by modulating speed of boiler and compressor has been estimated using energy audit data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Organic-inorganic composite nanocoatings with superhydrophobicity and thermal stability

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the thermal stability and hydrophobicity of difference alkyl chain of silanes with silicon micro-and nanoparticles, and the prepared sol was applied onto glass substrate using dip-coating method and was dried at control temperature of 400°C inside the tube furnace.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Design and Implementation of Single-Phase Hybrid Active Power Filter Controller

TL;DR: In this article, a combination of a series active power filter and a shunt passive filter is proposed to suppress the harmonic current produced by the load, whereas the active filter connected in series to a source acts as a harmonic isolator between the source and load.
