A New Approach for Harmonic Compensation Using Single- phase Hybrid Active Power Filter

TL;DR: In this paper, a hybrid active power filter topology is proposed to compensate the load current and voltage harmonic up to the limit specified by IEC, where the shunt passive filter is connected in parallel with a load and suppresses the harmonic current produced by the load, whereas the active filter connected in series to a source acts as a harmonic isolator between the source and load.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Self-tuning fuzzy-based dispatching strategy for elevator group control systems

TL;DR: A fuzzy logic dispatching strategy for elevator group control that uses a self-tuning fuzzy logic controller to tune membership functions and adjust fuzzy rule sets and shows considerable overall improvements in both waiting time and riding time.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Proposed Nine Switches Five Level Inverter With Low Switching Frequencies for Linear Generator Applications

TL;DR: The paper proposes and describes the design and operating principles of 5 levels voltage source inverter which acts as a link between the output of the linear generator and the load and compared with the conventional two level inverter with single switching inverter.
Journal ArticleDOI

A techno-environmental assessment of hybrid photovoltaic-thermal based combined heat and power system on a residential home

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provided energy, exergy and environmental analyses for hybrid photovoltaic-thermal based combined heat and power system, where a series of hot-water storages were applied for saving the excess of electricity and heat, respectively.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Dynamic and control of fuel cell system

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the dynamic model of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) using MATLAB/SIMULINK, where the fuel cell output voltage is proportional to the change of the current drawn from the model.
