Quantitative structure chromatography relationships in reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography: Prediction of retention behaviour using theoretically derived molecular properties

TL;DR: The use of theoretically calculated molecular properties as predictors for retention in reversed-phase HPLC has been explored in this paper, where a subset of the experimental data (a training set) was used to derive property-retention time relationships and the remaining data were then used to test the predictive capability of the methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

The chromatographic properties of a mixed-bed stationary phase combining reversed-phase and strong anion exchange properties

TL;DR: The dual nature of the retention mechanism allowed the retention of ionisable molecules to be adjusted using pH whilst that of uncharged compounds was unaffected.
Journal ArticleDOI

Micellar capillary electrophoresis of the ecdysteroids

TL;DR: The micellar capillary electrophoresis technique was found to be suitable for the analysis of purified ecdysteroid-rich extracts of plants and the eggs of the desert locust and the elution order of the analytes was similar to that obtained using reversed-phase HPLC.

Supercritical fluid chromatography and extraction of pharmaceuticals

TL;DR: Over the last decade high performance liquid chromatography has become firmly established as the pre-eminent separation technique for the chromatography and analysis of drugs and pharmaceuticals and the adoption of new techniques such as SFC must be considered.
