Longitudinal power Doppler ultrasonographic assessment of joint inflammatory activity in early rheumatoid arthritis: Predictive value in disease activity and radiologic progression
Esperanza Naredo,Paz Collado,Ana Cruz,Mercedes Jiménez Palop,Félix Cabero,Patricia Richi,Loreto Carmona,Manuel Crespo +7 more
TL;DR: PDUS is a sensitive and reliable method for longitudinal assessment of inflammatory activity in early rheumatoid arthritis and may have a predictive value in disease activity and radiographic outcome.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of the immune response to hepatitis B vaccine in patients on biological therapy: results of the RIER cohort study
Patricia Richi,Oriol Alonso,María Dolores Martín,Laura González-Hombrado,Teresa Navío,Marina Salido,Jesús Llorente,Cristina Andreu-Vázquez,Cristina García-Fernández,Ana Jiménez-Diaz,L. Lojo,Laura Cebrian,Israel Thuissard-Vasallo,María José Martínez de Aramayona,T. Cobo,Marta García-Castro,Patricia Castro,Mónica Fernández-Castro,Óscar Illera,Martina Steiner,Santiago Muñoz-Fernández +20 more
TL;DR: In patients on biological therapy, a high rate of HBV vaccine response can be achieved when a complete vaccination schedule is administered, which supports the proposal already made to provide HBV vaccination to all patients with an autoimmune inflammatory disease after the diagnosis is made and not when the use of a biological treatment is under consideration.
Journal Article
Recommendations for infectious disease screening in migrants to Western Europe with inflammatory arthropathies before starting biologic agents. Results from a multidisciplinary task force of four European societies (SIR, SER, SIMET, SEMTSI) facing the largest impact of the flow of migrants today.
Filippo Bartalesi,Carlo Alberto Scirè,Ana Requena-Méndez,Miguel Ángel Abad,Dora Buonfrate,Roberto Caporali,Fabrizio Conti,Federico Díaz-González,Cruz Fernández-Espartero,Carmen Martinez-Fernandez,Marta Mascarello,Elena Generali,Giovanni Minisola,Aldo Morrone,Jose Muñoz,Patricia Richi,Gariffalia Sakellariou,Joaquin Salas Coronas,Michele Spinicci,Francesco Castelli,Alessandro Bartoloni,Zeno Bisoffi,Francisco Gimenez-Sanchez,Santiago Muñoz-Fernández,Marco Matucci-Cerinic +24 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provided a prioritised list of research questions and the eligible spectrum of inflammatory arthritis, biologic drugs and infectious disease were defined in order to perform a systematic literature review.
Journal ArticleDOI
Automated radiofrequency-based US measurement of common carotid intima–media thickness in RA patients treated with synthetic vs synthetic and biologic DMARDs
Esperanza Naredo,Ingrid Möller,Alfonso Corrales,David Bong,Tatiana Cobo-Ibáñez,Hèctor Corominas,Ma Luz Garcia-Vivar,Pilar Macarrón,Teresa Navío,Patricia Richi,Annamaria Iagnocco,Jesús Garrido,David Martínez-Hernández +12 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that radiofrequency-based measurement of CCA-IMT can discriminate between RA patients treated with synthetic DMARDs vs RA patientstreated with synthetic and biologic DMARDS.
Journal ArticleDOI
Impact of Biological Therapies on the Immune Response after Pneumococcal Vaccination in Patients with Autoimmune Inflammatory Diseases.
Patricia Richi,Jose Yuste,Teresa Navío,Laura González-Hombrado,Marina Salido,Israel Thuissard-Vasallo,Ana Jiménez-Diaz,Jesús Llorente,Laura Cebrián,L. Lojo,Martina Steiner,T. Cobo,María Dolores Martín,Marta García-Castro,Patricia Castro,Santiago Muñoz-Fernández +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the pneumococcal vaccines PCV13 and PPV23 were combined to achieve OPKA titers against a larger number of serotypes than the rest of patients on other biological therapies such as anti-TNFα, rituximab, tocilizumab, abatacept or anakinra.
