Monitoring of patients with rheumatoid arthritis by indocyanine green (ICG)-enhanced fluorescence optical imaging treated with anti-TNFα therapy

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the usefulness of FOI in treatment monitoring under anti-TNFα therapy with certolizumab pegol (CZP) in patients with RA in comparison to clinical and laboratory outcome parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

OP0086 Alterations of immune cellular circadian rhythms in rheumatoid arthritis

TL;DR: This is the first indication of alterations of clock gene expression and endogenous circadian rhythms in immune cells of RA patients and may have therapeutic implications.
Journal ArticleDOI

SAT0090 Analysis of Potential Risk Factors for Delayed Fracture-Healing

TL;DR: The result obtained so far support the relations known from in vitro and in vivo studies in humans as high blood pressure as well as smoking appear to have a negative influence on fracture healing outcome.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aromatase mutation in men as a rare cause of osteoporosis: a case report and review of the literature.

TL;DR: In this paper , the effects of loss of oestrogens on male bone development were investigated in a case report and a review of the literature, highlighting the important role of Oestrogens in individual health and disease in men.

An in vitro human-based fracture gap model – Mimicking the crosstalk between bone and immune cells

TL;DR: The in vitro 3D fracture gap model provides all osteogenic cues to induce the initial bone healing processes, which were further promoted by applying the osteoinductive deferoxamine (DFO) and demonstrated the importance of including the crosstalk between bone and immune cells.
