Journal ArticleDOI
Predicting neurosurgical outcomes in focal epilepsy patients using computational modelling.
Nishant Sinha,Justin Dauwels,Marcus Kaiser,Sydney S. Cash,M. Brandon Westover,Yujiang Wang,Peter N Taylor,Peter N Taylor +7 more
TL;DR: The model presented here gives mechanistic insight as to why surgery may be unsuccessful in some patients, and may aid clinicians in presurgical evaluation by providing a tool to explore various surgical options, offering complementary information to existing clinical techniques.

Management of spontaneous and iatrogenic retroperitoneal haemorrhage: conservative management, endovascular intervention or open surgery?
TL;DR: This poster focuses on the treatment of patients with retroperitoneal haematoma with a history of central giant cell granuloma, which is a rare clinical entity with variable aetiology that is increasing in incidence.
Journal ArticleDOI
A new imaging method for assessment of aortic dissection using four-dimensional phase contrast magnetic resonance imaging
TL;DR: 4D PC-MRI can be accurately applied to visualize and quantify flow characteristics in patients with aortic dissection and Stroke volume, velocity, distal dominant entry tears, and helical flow are related to the rate of aorti expansion.
