TL;DR: In this article , the authors report on data from 32,849 surveys from Year 7-12 students in 40 schools over two 2020 survey cycles (June/July: 19,240; October: 13,609) drawn from a study of 79 primary and secondary schools across Western Australia, Australia.

Mapping malaria seasonality: a case study from Madagascar
Michele Nguyen,Rosalind E. Howes,Tim C.D. Lucas,Katherine E. Battle,Ewan Cameron,Harry S. Gibson,Jennifer Rozier,Suzanne H. Keddie,Emma L. Collins,Rohan Arambepola,Su Yun Kang,Chantal Hendriks,Anita Nandi,Susan F. Rumisha,Samir Bhatt,Sedera Aurélien Mioramalala,Mauricette Andriamananjara Nambinisoa,Fanjasoa Rakotomanana,Peter W. Gething,Daniel J. Weiss +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a statistical modelling framework for characterising the seasonal patterns derived directly from case data is developed. But the method is not suitable for the analysis of seasonal fluctuations in case incidence as Anopheles and Plasmodium parasite life cycles respond to changing environmental conditions.

disaggregation: An R Package for Bayesian Spatial Disaggregation Modelling
TL;DR: This paper presents the R package disaggregation, which provides functionality to streamline the process of running a disaggregation model for fine-scale predictions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spatiotemporal mapping of malaria incidence in Sudan using routine surveillance data
A. Elagali,Ayman Awadallah Ahmed,Nada Makki,H. Ismail,Mark Ajak,Kefyalew Addis Alene,Daniel J. Weiss,Abdalla Ahmed Mohammed,Mustafa Abubakr,Ewan Cameron,Peter W. Gething,Asmaa Elabas Mustafa Elagali +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors present a spatiotemporal Bayesian model, developed in collaboration with the Sudanese Ministry of Health, that predicts a fine-scale (1 km [Formula: see text] 1 km) clinical incidence and seasonality profiles for Plasmodium falciparum and PlasModium vivax across the country.
