Journal ArticleDOI

Imaging electron flow and quantum dot formation in MoS2 nanostructures

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used a cooled scanning probe microscope (SPM) to image the flow of electrons in a MoS2 Hall bar sample at 4.2 K.
Journal Article

Mesoscopic Electron Transport in Nanostructured Graphene

TL;DR: Ozyilmaz et al. as discussed by the authors proposed mesoscopic Aharonov-Bohm (AB) rings for low energy electric transport in nanostructured Graphene.
Book ChapterDOI

Charge density wave formation in nanocrystals

TL;DR: In this paper, charge density wave formation in nanocrystals is discussed, and the role of quantum confinement of electrons to understand new phenomena that manifest themselves in these nanoscale structures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Asymmetric photoelectric effect: Auger-assisted hot hole photocurrents in transition metal dichalcogenides

TL;DR: In this article, the authors report the observation of large, through-hBN photocurrents that are generated upon optical excitation of hBN encapsulated MoSe2 and WSe2 monolayer devices, in combination with an asymmetric band offset between the TMD and the hBN.
