Extended High Circular Polarization in the Orion Massive Star Forming Region: Implications for the Origin of Homochirality in the Solar System

TL;DR: In this paper, a wide-field and deep near-infrared (Ks band: 2.14 micro m) image of the Orion nebula is presented, showing that a high circular polarization region is spatially extended around the massive star-forming region, the BN/KL nebula.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ongoing astrometric microlensing events from VVV and Gaia

TL;DR: In this article, the Vista Variables were used to identify two microlensing events with maxima in 2019 that require urgent follow-up with an estimated precision of $sim9$ and $sim13$ per cent respectively.
