Journal ArticleDOI

Structural, Magnetic, and Photomagnetic Studies of a Mononuclear Iron(II) Derivative Exhibiting an Exceptionally Abrupt Spin Transition. Light-Induced Thermal Hysteresis Phenomenon.

TL;DR: The new spin-crossover compound Fe(PM- biA)(2)(NCS)(2) with PM-BiA = N-(2-pyridylmethylene)aminobiphenyl has been synthesized and the determination of the intermolecular contacts in the LS and HS forms has revealed a two-dimensional structural character.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural characterization of a photoinduced molecular switch.

TL;DR: The crystal structures in both irradiated and nonirradiated states of a photoinduced molecular switch based on the spin-crossover phenomenon are presented and the light-induced metastable high-spin state of thespin-c crossover complex [Fe(phen)2(NCS)2] (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) shows significant differences.
Journal ArticleDOI

New superconducting charge-transfer salts (BEDT-TTF)4[A·M(C2O4)3]·C6H5NO2 (A = H3O or NH4, M = Cr or Fe, BEDT-TTF = bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene)

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis, crystal structures, and physical properties of two new crystalline charge transfer salts of BEDT-TTF, bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene, containing tris(oxalato)metallate(III) anions of 3d elements are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

One-Dimensional Looped Chain and Two-Dimensional Square Grid Coordination Polymers: Encapsulation of Bis(1,2,4-Triazole)-trans-cyclohexane into the Voids

TL;DR: In this article, two new coordination polymers [Cu(btzx)2(MeOH)2]-NO3)2 (1) and [cu(btrcy)2[H2O]2]-ClO4)2·bTrcy (2) have been synthesized by reacting two bis-triazole/tetrazole-ligands namely m−xylylene−bis(tetraxole) (BTzx) and bis(1,2,4−triazoles)−trans-cyclohexane
