Journal Article

Serum IgA preferentially binds to cationic polypeptides in IgA nephropathy.

TL;DR: When 18 patients with IgA-GN were tested after kidney transplantation, increased levels of cBSA-IgA and/or Ig a-RF were found to be associated with the recurrence of mesangial IgA deposits in the graft.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inhibition of matrix metalloproteinase-9 by interferons and TGF-β1 through distinct signalings accounts for reduced monocyte invasiveness

TL;DR: The data point out the importance of IFNs and TGF‐β1 in the control of monocyte MMP‐9‐mediated extravasation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isotype and affinity of anti-myeloperoxidase autoantibodies in systemic vasculitis.

TL;DR: Anti-MPO IgG level increased during relapses but the affinity of these IgG autoantibodies remained low, and in a longitudinal study, high levels of anti-MPo IgM, when present, were observed early in the course of the disease and in some cases preceded the reappearance of pro-MPE IgG during relapse.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nonneoplastic circulating sézary‐like cells in cutaneous T‐cell lymphoma. Ultrastructural, immunologic, and T‐cell receptor gene‐rearrangement studies

TL;DR: It is concluded that reactive nonneoplastic Sézary‐like cells may be present not only in various benign conditions, as previously known, but also in T‐cell lymphomas.
