Phylogeny of Chaetothyriaceae in northern Thailand including three new species
Putarak Chomnunti,Thida Win Ko Ko,Ekachai Chukeatirote,Kevin D. Hyde,Lei Cai,E. B. Gareth Jones,Rampai Kodsueb,Bahkali Ali Hassan,Hang Chen +8 more
TL;DR: Three new species of epiphyllous ascomycota belonging to Chaetothyriaceae, which are fully described and illustrated, are described and DNA sequence analyses of LSU and ITS rDNA genes shows that the new species cluster in the Chaet Timothyriaceae.

TL;DR: The type species of 26 genera of the family Melanommataceae are re-described and illustrated, and a multi-gene phylogeny based on maximum likelihood and Bayesian analyses of LSU, SSU, RPB2 and EF-1α sequence data of species of Melanomataceae is provided.
Journal ArticleDOI
The evolution of Massarineae with Longipedicellataceae fam. nov.
Chayanard Phukhamsakda,S. Hongsanan,Martin Ryberg,Hiran A. Ariyawansa,Putarak Chomnunti,Ali H. Bahkali,Kevin D. Hyde +6 more
TL;DR: This study introduces Massarineae, a suborder of Pleosporales, the largest order in Dothideomycetes, which comprises 14 families and six taxa of uncertain placement.
Journal ArticleDOI
Muriphaeosphaeria galatellae gen. et sp. nov. in Phaeosphaeriaceae ( Pleosporales )
Chayanard Phukhamsakda,Hiran A. Ariyawansa,Rungtiwa Phookamsak,Putarak Chomnunti,Timur S. Bulgakov,Jun-Bo Yang,Darbhe J. Bhat,Ali H. Bahkali,Kevin D. Hyde +8 more
TL;DR: A phylogenetic analysis based on combined LSU, SSU and ITS sequence data showed that M. galatellae forms a distinct lineage in Phaeosphaeriaceae.
