Multiscale analysis on spatiotemporal dynamics of energy consumption CO2 emissions in China: Utilizing the integrated of DMSP-OLS and NPP-VIIRS nighttime light datasets

TL;DR: This study integrated the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program's Operational Linescan System (DMSP-OLS) stable nighttime light data and Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (NPP) Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) composite data, and established the integrated nighttime light datasets from 1992 to 2016, and provided policy implications based on the results.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of urbanization on freight transport carbon emissions in China: Common characteristics and regional disparity

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper analyzed the driving factors of freight transport carbon emissions and the effects of urbanization on freight transport CO 2 emissions in China, and provided policy implications based on the findings, which are expected to contribute to the carbon emissions reduction in China's transportation industry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Consistent modeling of a catastrophic flowslide at the Shenzhen landfill using a hydro-elasto-plastic model with solid–fluid transition

TL;DR: In this article, a catastrophic flowslide that recently occurred at a landfill in Shenzhen, China was described using a unified constitutive model, which was used to perform the hydro-elasto-plastic modeling in the pre-failure stage, the viscous modelling in the post-fault stage, and the second-order work criterion was introduced in between to model the solid-fluid transition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Real-time monitoring and FEMLIP simulation of a rainfall-induced rockslide

TL;DR: In this article, the stability of the rock slope under excavation and rainfall conditions was monitored using an efficient real-time monitoring system using finite element method with Lagrangian integration points (FEMLIP).
