Cylindrically shaped ultrasonic linear array fabricated using PIMNT/epoxy 1-3 piezoelectric composite

TL;DR: In this article, a cylindrically shaped ultrasonic linear array has been designed, fabricated, and characterized based on the improved flexibility of as-prepared PIMNT/epoxy 1-3 composite, which achieved an ultrabroad bandwidth (−6 dB) of 128%, which is a significant improvement over the plane linear array.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ternary piezoelectric single-crystal PIMNT based 2-2 composite for ultrasonic transducer applications

TL;DR: In this article, a PIMNT/epoxy 2-2 composite ultrasonic transducer was designed, fabricated, and its performance was compared with those of a single-crystal ultrasonic Transformer.
Journal ArticleDOI

High frequency transducer for vessel imaging based on lead-free Mn-doped (K0.44Na0.56)NbO3 single crystal

TL;DR: In this article, a lead-free single-crystal transducer was used for vessel imaging with a center frequency of 51.8 MHz with a −6 dB bandwidth of 70.2%.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phase transition behavior and defect chemistry of [001]-oriented 0.15Pb(In1/2Nb1/2)O3-0.57Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.28PbTiO3-Mn single crystals

TL;DR: In this article, a modified Bridgman method was used to grow PIMNT-Mn single crystals with a rhombohedral perovskite structure, which exhibited complex dielectric behavior after polarization, and the temperature and electric field induced ferroelectric phase transitions were investigated by the temperature dependent unipolar strain curves.
Journal ArticleDOI

Broadband and high sensitive time-of-flight diffraction ultrasonic transducers based on PMNT/epoxy 1-3 piezoelectric composite.

TL;DR: These TOFD ultrasonic transducers based on PMNT/epoxy 1–3 composite exhibit considerably improved performance over the commercial PZT/ep oxygen 1-3 composite TOFD Ultrasonic transducer.
