Functional variant of MTOR rs2536 and survival of Chinese gastric cancer patients.
Lei Cheng,Li-Xin Qiu,Ruoxin Zhang,Danwen Qian,Mengyun Wang,Menghong Sun,Xiao-Dong Zhu,Yanong Wang,Weijian Guo,Qingyi Wei +9 more
TL;DR: The MTOR rs2536 T > C change may be a biomarker for survival of Chinese GCa patients, likely by modulating microRNA‐induced gene expression silencing.
Journal ArticleDOI
Functional variants in the low-density lipoprotein receptor gene are associated with clear cell renal cell carcinoma susceptibility
Journal ArticleDOI
Erratum: Circulating human papillomavirus DNA as a marker for disease extent and recurrence among patients with oropharyngeal cancer. (Cancer. (2015) 121 (3455-3464))
Kristina R. Dahlstrom,Guojun Li,Caroline Hussey,J. T. Vo,Qingyi Wei,Chong Zhao,Erich M. Sturgis +6 more
TL;DR: In the current study pretreatment serum HPV DNA did not appear to have clinical usefulness as a marker for disease recurrence for patients with OPC; however, larger studies with an increased power to detect significant associations are warranted.
Genetic variants in the metzincin metallopeptidase family genes predict melanoma survival
Yinghui Xu,Yanru Wang,Yanru Wang,Hongliang Liu,Hongliang Liu,Qiong Shi,Dakai Zhu,Christopher I. Amos,Shenying Fang,Jeffrey E. Lee,Terry Hyslop,Terry Hyslop,Xin Li,Jiali Han,Qingyi Wei +14 more
TL;DR: Four independent SNPs identified as predictors of CMSS revealed a decreased CMSS in a dose‐response manner as the number of risk genotypes increased, and it is suggested that these genetic variants may be promising prognostic biomarkers for CMSS.
