Journal ArticleDOI

Plasma ion temperature measurements via charge exchange recombination radiation

TL;DR: In this paper, the Doppler-broadened line profiles of transitions excited by charge exchange recombination reactions between fast hydrogen atoms and fully ionized low-Z ions are measured.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spatially Resolved Measurements of Fully Ionized Low- Z Impurities in the PDX Tokamak

TL;DR: In this article, the distribution of fully ionized oxygen and carbon in PDX tokamak plasma is reported, and the C/sup 6 +/ and O/sup 8 +/ ions are observed out to radii beyond the limiter.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tangential neutral-beam-driven instabilities in the Princeton beta experiment.

TL;DR: During tangential neutral beam injection into the PBX tokamak, bursts of two types of instabilities are observed, indicating that beam ions are removed from the center of the plasma by the instabilities.
