PtRu nanoparticles supported on nitrogen-doped multiwalled carbon nanotubes as catalyst for methanol electrooxidation
Raghuram Chetty,Shankhamala Kundu,Wei Xia,Michael Bron,Wolfgang Schuhmann,Valentin Chirila,W. Brandl,Thomas Reinecke,Martin Muhler +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of PtRu/N-CNT was compared to the conventional acid-treated carbon nanotubes (O-Cnt) as catalyst support for platinum-ruthenium (PtRu) nanoparticles in the anodic oxidation of methanol in direct methanoline fuel cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Reduction Temperature on the Preparation and Characterization of Pt-Ru Nanoparticles on Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes
Raghuram Chetty,Wei Xia,Shankhamala Kundu,Michael Bron,Thomas Reinecke,Wolfgang Schuhmann,Martin Muhler +6 more
TL;DR: The results showed that the catalyst reduced at a temperature of 350 degrees C had the largest electrochemical surface area, lowest charge transfer resistance and the highest electrocatalytic activity for methanol oxidation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of ZnO morphology on GO-ZnO modified polyamide reverse osmosis membranes for desalination
Revathy Rajakumaran,Vinisha Boddu,Mathava Kumar,Marwa S. Shalaby,Heba Abdallah,Raghuram Chetty +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of embedding nanocomposite with different morphology in a polymer-based reverse osmosis (RO) membrane was studied and the surface properties of the fabricated TFN-RO membrane were investigated using SEM, TEM, XRD, FTIR, AFM, XPS and contact angle measurement.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of crystal structure and grain size on corrosion properties of AlCoCrFeNi high entropy alloy
Abhinav Parakh,Abhinav Parakh,Mayur Vaidya,Nitish Kumar,Raghuram Chetty,B.S. Murty,B.S. Murty +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the corrosion resistance dependence on the crystal structure and grain size of AlCoCrFeNi HEA is investigated, and it is observed that an increase in grain size improves corrosion resistance.
