What will physical organic chemistry achieve in the 21st century

TL;DR: Physical organic chemistry is the broadest subdiscipline of chemistry and it uses all the methods of physical chemistry and a few of its own to make the new molecules needed for studies as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

The hydrolysis of a Co(III) chelated amide catalyzed by an internal phosphonic acid group

TL;DR: In this article, the authors incorporated a phosphonate ion as an internal cocatalyst for the hydrolysis of a Co(III) complex of a glycine anilide, in two different versions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Binding Properties of Cyclodextrin Trimers.

TL;DR: A series of cyclodextrin trimers and dimers were examined as binders for appropriate trimeric and dimeric aminoacid amides as mentioned in this paper, showing that tritropic binding was stronger than ditopic binding, although the free energies were not strictly additive.
