LUCIA, a microfocus soft XAS beamline
Anne-Marie Flank,Gilles Cauchon,P. Lagarde,S. Bac,Markus Janousch,R. Wetter,J. M. Dubuisson,Mourad Idir,F. Langlois,Thierry Moreno,Delphine Vantelon +10 more
TL;DR: The beamline of the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Switzerland has been used for X-ray imaging and absorption spectroscopy as discussed by the authors, which allows the possibility to study heterogeneous samples at a micrometer scale and combine these two element-specific and non-destructive techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI
The GALAXIES inelastic hard X-ray scattering end-station at Synchrotron SOLEIL.
James M. Ablett,D. Prieur,Denis Céolin,Benedikt Lassalle-Kaiser,Blair W. Lebert,M Sauvage,Th. Moreno,S. Bac,V. Balédent,A Ovono,M. Morand,Frédéric Gélébart,Abhay Shukla,Jean-Pascal Rueff +13 more
TL;DR: The design and performance of the inelastic X-ray scattering end-station that operates in the energy range from ∼4 keV up to 12”keV is reported, and its capabilities are highlighted using a selection of data taken from recently performed experiments.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
LUCIA — a new 1-7 keV μ-XAS Beamline
Markus Janousch,A.‐M. Flank,P. Lagarde,Gilles Cauchon,S. Bac,J. M. Dubuisson,Th. Schmidt,R. Wetter,G. Grolimund,A. M. Scheidegger +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new micro focused beamline for micro x-ray absorption spectroscopy and micro imaging is presented, which is designed to deliver a photon flux of the order of 1012 ph/sec on a 1 × 1 μm spot within the energy domain of 0.8 to 7 keV.
