Radiative and Non-radiative Recombination Processes in Photoexcited Poly(p-phenylene vinylene)
TL;DR: In this article, the luminescence from photoexcited poly(p-phenylene vinylene) [PPV] was studied and a strong decrease in the yield and lifetime was observed as the extent of unsaturation is increased by thermal conversion from the precursor to fully converted PPV.
Book ChapterDOI
Control of the State of Order in Poly(p-phenylene vinylene) and Its Effect on Iodine Doping
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of investigations of crystallinity at various stages in the conversion of unoriented films from the precursor to fully converted poly(p-phenylene vinylene) [PPV] are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
MÖSSBAUER STUDY OF SbF5- DOPED POLYACETYLENE
TL;DR: SbF5-doped polyacetylene was studied on samples with dopant concentrations ranging from 0.1 to 8.4 mol%, using 121Sb Mossbauer spectroscopy as mentioned in this paper.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
The Influence of Sulfur Promoter on the Production of SWCNTs by the Arc‐Discharge Process
TL;DR: The influence of sulfur addition on the production of SWCNTs by the arc discharge method with Fe/Y catalysts was investigated in this article, where it was found that the yield was strongly influenced by the presence of sulfur.
Journal ArticleDOI
Time resolved fluorescence and solvatochromism in donor-substituted bianthrones
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of donor substitution on the bianthrone system was investigated through the solvatochromism of the absorption and fluorescence spectra as well as time resolved fluorescence measurements.
