A highly sensitive, flexible SERS sensor for malachite green detection based on Ag decorated microstructured PDMS substrate fabricated from Taro leaf as template

TL;DR: A bio-inspired flexible surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) sensor for malachite green (MG) detection has been fabricated by coating Ag on a structured surface of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) substrate using textured nano/microstructured Taro leaf as template.
Journal ArticleDOI

Stability and dewetting of metal nanoparticle filled thin polymer films: control of instability length scale and dynamics

TL;DR: Results show there are distinct regimes of dewetting velocity at low NP concentrations, and force modulation AFM, as well as micro-Raman analysis, shows phase separation and aggregation of the gold nanoparticles within each dewetted polymer droplet leading to the formation of a metal core-polymer shell morphology.
Journal ArticleDOI

Impact of annealing temperature on band-alignment of PLD grown Ga2O3/Si (100) heterointerface

TL;DR: In this article, β-gallium oxide (Ga2O3) films were deposited on Si (100) substrate using pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique in order to observe the crystallinity variation due to the annealing.
Journal ArticleDOI

An efficient hydrogen gas sensor based on hierarchical Ag/ZnO hollow microstructures

TL;DR: In this article, a simple, low-cost chemical co-precipitation method was used to obtain the Ag/ZnO hollow microstructures and morphologically characterized them by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM).
Journal ArticleDOI

PZT-PDMS composite for active damping of vibrations

TL;DR: In this paper, a lead zirconate-titanate (PZT)/poly-dimethylsiloxane (PDMS) based flexible composite is synthesized and investigated for its potential in significantly enhancing the vibration damping capability along with its tunable properties.
