TL;DR: Almost all extracts showed a potential for UVB radiation absorption in accordance with the ANVISA technical regulation for cosmetic sunscreens, and the antioxidant activity of the extracts was evaluated using the DPPH radical scavenging test.

TL;DR: The antiparasitic and cytotoxic activities of three plant species from the Cerrado biome, Northeastern Brazil are described and the need for further tests to enable future in vivo trials, including antineoplastic activity on human tumor cells is pointed out.
