TL;DR: In this paper, the MESSENGER Gamma-Ray Spectrometer was used to determine the surface abundance of chlorine in Mercury's northern hemisphere, and the derived Cl/Si mass ratio is 0.0057−±-0.001, which for an assumed Si abundance of 24.6% corresponds to 0.14−±−0.03% Cl.

TL;DR: In this article, three-dimensional images of P-wave velocity structure beneath the Hawaiian Islands, obtained from a network of seafloor and land seismometers, show an upper-mantle low-velocity anomaly that is elongated in the direction of the island chain and surrounded by a high-level anomaly in the shallow upper mantle that is parabolic in map view.
