Journal ArticleDOI

Non‐Innocent Ligands: New Opportunities in Iron Catalysis

TL;DR: In this paper, the chemistry and applications of low-valent iron complexes bearing potentially non-innocent ligands are discussed. But the focus of this review is not on the catalytic properties of these complexes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of the Keggin-type ruthenium-nitrido derivative [PW11O39{RuN}]4- and evidence of its electrophilic reactivity.

TL;DR: The phosphoraniminato derivative [PW11O39{RuVNPh3}]3- has been structurally characterized and its unusual oxidation state is in accordance with its EPR spectrum.
Journal ArticleDOI

Iminosemiquinone radical ligands enable access to a well-defined redox-active Cu(II)-CF₃ complex.

TL;DR: Reactivity of this complex leads to nucleophilic trifluoromethylation of the ligand, suggesting an electronic interplay that results in a formal umpolung of the initial CF3(+) source.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electro-Assisted Reduction of CO2 to CO and Formaldehyde by (TOA)6[α-SiW11O39Co(_)] Polyoxometalate

TL;DR: In this paper, the multiproton-multielectron electrochemical reduction of CO2 in homogeneous solution by using (TOA)6[α-SiW11O39Co) polyoxometalate as an electrocatalyst was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Addition of N-heterocyclic carbenes to a ruthenium(VI) nitrido polyoxometalate: a new route to cyclic guanidines.

TL;DR: The scope of N-atom transfer from the electrophilic ruthenium(VI) nitrido containing polyoxometalate has been extended to the N-heterocyclic carbene and the coupling product {CH(2)(Mes)N}(2)CNH(2%) characterized by (1)H NMR and high-resolution mass spectrometry.
