Investigation on sol-gel based coatings application in energy sector – A review

TL;DR: In this article, the structural characterization and influences of physical and chemical parameters on the antireflection coatings prepare by sol-gel practice procedure is discussed. And the essential coating on the substrate mainly depends on the heat treatment process, solution preparation and coating types using solgel application, which mainly relies on the ration of solvent to additive substances, concentration of taken precursor agent, and aging time of the solvent, thickness and substrate material of the coating.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of ultrathin gahnite anti-reflection coating on the power conversion efficiency of polycrystalline silicon solar cell

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of gahnite spinel nanostructure-integrated coating on the efficiency of silicon solar cell was explored by investigating physical, electrical, optical characteristics and temperature distribution profiles.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Extended Approach on Power Conversion Efficiency Enhancement Through Deposition of ZnS-Al2S3 Blends on Silicon Solar Cells

TL;DR: In this article, a transparent zinc sulfide-aluminium sulfide (Al2S3) composite thin-films are deposited on silicon solar cells through radio frequency (RF) sputtering method at room temperature to investigate the structural, optical, electrical, and thermal characteristics.
